VINTAGE FRISTER & ROSSMANN'S HAND SEWING MACHINE
The machine is set into a wooden base which, as can be seen from the
photo's, has had a few knocks over the years. The machine itself has
also had quite a bit of use, but would appear to be in working order
with a nice, smooth action. We did try to do a stitch swatch but
unfortunately broke the needle. We may have another needle and if we
find it before the end of the auction will put this in. It has a
porcelain handle on the wheel and mother-of-pearl inlay detail on the
metal bed of the machine. It is complete with its bullet shaped
shuttle. The wooden lid has some ink stains down one side and an
inlaid pattern on the top. There is a key with the box, although we
are not sure it is the correct one, as once the box is locked it is a
struggle to open with the key. It can be opened with a flat blade
between the lid & base. Comes with an instruction book, a hemming
foot, binding foot and a braiding foot. As you will see from the
photo's, this is a nice machine which makes a change from the usual
Singer & Jones models. Would make a lovely display piece, or could
still be used.

Wherever possible we will combine postage costs for purchases of

weight does not exceed 20kg and does not exceed maximum size for this

Vintage Singer 29 K 15 leather stitching machine. A very heavy duty
sewing machine, which is very well engineered and is in working order.
The machine has a long slender free arm, which would be useful for
boots etc. It has come from a cobblers workshop and runs Ok when the
wheel is turned, there is a slight stiffness at one point in the
cycle, which should be cureable with some oiling / cleaning of the cam
and other moving parts. The gold decals of the machine are worn away
somewhat but some remains, and it has faceplate bearing model number
29 k 15. This machine is heavy and Im not able to offer overseas
shipping, although overseas buyer is welcome to send courier to
collect , like fedex for example. UK Shipping cost is £12 by
parceforce.
