This is in very good condition, 1950s mens grooming set, made in
English coach hide, Prepared by Connolly of London in the old
fashioned way with plenty of dressing to ensure long life.Contains
mirror,file,scissors,comb, talc holders,soap box,tooth brush

Vintage 1940s chrome hairbrush, comb and hand mirror set
Vintage 1940s chrome hairbrush, comb and hand mirror set.
Before you bid, please check, and agree to, the delivery costs. All
our auctions have a very low starting bid and no reserve, but we will
only deliver first class or parcel post, and as such the stated
delivery cost is non-negotiable.
This is made of a heavy chromed metal, and is in a very art deco
style.
It consists of a large comb, a hairbrush, and a vanity mirror, all in
yellow bakelite(?) and a silver/chrome metal.
This item is of good quality, but bears no makers mark, hence the
low start bid and no reserve on this auction.
The brush measures 8.5" in length, the mirror 9.5" and the comb 7.5".
These items have the amount of surface scratches and wear expected
of their age and usage, and could do with polishing. One tine of the
comb is bent. Otherwise all items are in good condition.
To save on delivery costs, the winning bidder is welcome to collect
this item from our warehouse in Roxwell, Essex.
International postage is expensive. We cannot change this fact. If you
are located outside the UK, please contact us before you bid and we
will find the postage price to your location. We cannot barter over
international postage prices. We deliver internationally only by
airmail, as items get broken travelling by surface mail, and can take
up to two months to arrive.
