This is an original page from this beautiful book. Not a copy or
reprint. Measures approximately 8 inches by 10 inches. Good
condition. Would look magnificent framed.
CAPTION: 'FOXHOUNDS This exceptionally fine painting of Foxhounds by
J. Emms is the property of Mr. Walter Hutchinson, M.A. F.R.G.S, etc.
Editor-in-Chief of the, 'DOG ENCYCLOPAEDIA' and many other important
Part Works. the picture shows some members of a pack on their sleeping
bench, and by their sides the hard-bitten game terrier which, when the
fox goes to earth, ahs the job of turing it out again.'

other illustrations overleaf which do not show through to the naked
eye and will obviously be totally undetectable when mounted.

gift. Certificate of authenticity included.
CAPTION: 'CAIRNS OF DISTINCTION (Specially painted for this work by
F.T Daws). This well-known animal artist has here caught the alert and
friendly expression of two delightful Cairns, both excellent specimens
of the breed. 'JOCK' is the property of Lady Hutchinson and 'SANDY'
belongs to Mrs. Walter Hutchinson, wife of the editor (who is Chairman
of the well-known publishing company, and its many Associated Printing
and Publishing Concerns throughout the Country).
