The nib is PARKER 14k Gold # 5 8 .
This pen has been cleaned, hand polished, filled and tested (very
smooth)and cleaned again.
It has been used by a right handed person.

Description
This auction is for a a very fine and extremely stylish Parker Senior
Duofold fountain pen, which was manufactured in England during the
1956. The Duofold is the flagship pen of the Parker Pen Company. This
classic Parker Senior Duofold is Jet Black with gold-filled trim and
is in near mint condition. This Parker Senior Duofold uses the ultra
durable and reliable Aero-metric filling system, which is in perfect
order after 50 years of service and will probably last another 50
years.
The Parker Senior Duofold in a larger variant of the standard Parker
Duofold. This impressive fountain pen features a very large and
handsome solid 14 ct gold nib.
The pen has been fully restored and tested. It is an excellent writer
and would make a superb gift or take pride of place in any collection.
Ownership of pen with the history and prestige of the Parker Duofold,
will provide the owner with a feeling of satisfaction and a sense of

The Duofold
Founded in 1888 when George S. Parker decided to make a better pen,
the Parker Pen Company's tradition epitomizes the highest standards of
craftsmanship, technology, and aesthetics.
Parker's innovation was evident in 1921 when the company made its
daring introduction of the Parker Duofold. Time and again, world
leaders have selected the Duofold to witness historic turning points
in history. The Armistice ending World War II on the European Front
was signed with a Duofold belonging to General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
And it was with his own 20-year-old Duofold that General Douglas
MacArthur signed the document ending World War II in the Pacific. 1973
brought an end to the Vietnam War, and Former Secretary of State
William P. Rogers signed the Vietnam Peace Agreement in Paris on
January 27 with a Parker Duofold.
Based on the classic elegance of the early design and outstanding
writing performance, the Parker Duofold continues to be the pen of
choice for historic signings. Duofold Pens were used by President
George H.W. Bush and Russian President Boris Yelstin to sign an
historic agreement on June 17, 1992, pledging to destroy two-thirds of
the U.S. and Russian strategic nuclear arsenal.
The Duofold has maintained its status as the flagship pen of the
Parker Pen Company.
