TOOOO CUTE! MINIATURE ZODIAC TOYS SINDY WITH BALLERINA OUTFIT AND
GLITZY JUMPSUIT

What a little cutie! This Sindy doll stands approx. 6 1/2" high and is
made by Zodiac Toys Ltd. Hong Kong. She has a very poseable
articulated body and came dressed in the Ballerina Outfit. No damage
to her face paint, no pen marks. Her hair is soft/shiney, uncut
although a little dry towards the ends. There is one hair plug which
has thinned and is hidden so you have to search for it. She has the
original ribbon in her hair. Stringing is nice and tight to her legs
and arms and she has a TNT waist. Feet perfect, one hand has the tip
of her index finger missing as highlighted by the red arrow. Her
Ballerina outfit has the popper intact on the pink tu-tu and is in
great condition, no holes in her tights, elastic at the waist nice and
tight. Her white body suit is without any damage, although a bit
grubby. Finished off with a pair of white ballet shoes again without
any damage. Lastly is the white sparkly lycra jumpsuit, popper intact
and this is in as new condition. EXCELLENT LOT! HIGH BID TAKES THE
DOLL AND CLOTHING-STAND/CHAIR NOT INCLUDED......see closeup pictures.

This lovely, blonde haired 'Sweet Dreams' Sindy doll is a hard-to-find
variation on the standard brunette doll (Both were issued in 1980).
Colette Mansell describes her as "..a rare version wearing this rose
sprigged nightdress" (pg 150)
She has no missing plugs, but at some point a previous owner has
trimmed her hair - however - some of the original length remains and
there are no bald patches or spikey bits so will a little ingenuity
she can still be styled beautifully (see my photos below for details).
Her open & shut 'sleepy' eyes are both still working smoothly and her
'real' eyelashes are long, dark and even & her beautiful - even her
face painting is still in fab condition !! (see pics below).
She has a twist waist, both of her knees click twice and hold their
pose (Her left knee works well but her right knee works like she has
just been removed from her box!!).
She has no marks, nibbles or missing bits - in fact, apart from the
hair trim, she is in near perfect condition !!
She is marked '033390' above '21' on the back of her head.

* SWEET DREAMS (1980) *
Floral Nightdress: In fabulous condition - No marks, tears or damage -
Original stud popper intact on reverse - The dirndl bodice has lost
some of its elasticity, but this will be easy to correct with some new
elastic thread.
Floral Dressing Gown: Faultless except for a small brown mark near the
hem which may well come out with a gentle rinse through but as I don't
know what it is, I can't guarantee it. It's not very obvious and can
easily be disguised in the folds of her gown if rinsing dosn't do the
trick.

1 x Pair of pink genuine Sindy slippers (These are the original design
supplied with this outfit and in excellent condition !!)
1 x Pink nightcap with ribbon ties (I'm not sure where this came from
but it matches the outfit wonderfully and is an effective way to cover
her trim up if you're not too confident with styling her hair).
1 x Pair of pretty pink & lace pants (Faultless)
