AUCTION IS FOR A VINTAGE DOLL NOT SURE OF THE MAKER COULD BE PEDIGREE.
THE ONLY IDENTIFICATION IS A 8 ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD. SHE HAS BIG
BROWN SIDE GLANCING GOOGLY EYES, AND SHE IS A HAND ASSISTED WALKER
DOLL. SHE HAS VYNIL ARMS AND HEAD ANS HARD PLASTIC LEGS AND BODY. SHE
HAS NO BITES OR CHEWS OR PEN MARKS AND ALL OF HER SHORT HAIR AND
EYELASHES I WOULD SAY SHE WAS LATE 1950S EARLY 60S. SIZE IS 17" ANY

Battery operated walking doll, made in Italy, she is ex shop stock and
has never been used. She seams to be in very good condition, but
is very shop soiled and needs a good clean. All original clothes in
good condition apart from needing a wash. Still has the original
plastic bag over her head. Face paint looks perfect, no fading or
paint rubs, clear blue sleep eyes have lovely long thick lashes and
open and close well. All though the battery compartment in her back
is clean I cannot guarantee that she still works. There are wheels on
the bottom of each shoe to aid her walking action which turn freely so
don't stick. Her box is shop soiled and the lid is torn on all
corners, also two tears across the front so will need some tlc.
Sorry! No Returns on this one, sold as seen, hence the low starting
price and no reserve.

HUGE OLD VINTAGE BABY DOLL DOLLS HEAD MANNEQUIN?

This old doll's head is huge - it measures about 7" high, and 17.5" in
diameter.
Although very scratched and marked, it has great character. I wonder
if it was used in a shop as part of a mannequin to model baby clothes?
The eyes are somewhat sunken, and very cloudy. I expect they could be
painted. The lashes vary in length, but aren't too bad. The hair is
moulded.
The head sits on a wooden base. No maker's mark can be seen.
Interesting to display, or wonderful if a body could be found! HAPPY
BIDDING.
