This kit consists of 49 parts. Plane has a 7 3/4" wing span. The Westland Wallace, piloted by Flight Lieutenant McIntyre on the 3rd of April, 1933 and accompanied by the Westland P.V.3, flew from India across the summit of Mount Everest. This was the first flight to conquer Mount Everest and both planes were used later in 1933 in the successful Houston-Mount Everest Expedition. It is 1/72nd scale and comes with 2 crewmen. Made in Great Britain by Rovex Industries, Ltd. Box has been opened but plane was never put together. Box shows some wear on the corners. FROG The Trail Blazers, Westland Wallace 1/72 scale. The kit appears complete and includes Instructions, decals and a stand for your completed model. The box is in fair condition, although slightly battered, as can be seen in the photograph. This auction forms part of a large collection of models, trains,( trucks, carriages and engines) cars, records, books and tools that my late Grandfather collected. They have all been dry/warm stored for at least 15 years, since he passed on.
