1940s Vintage 'Aquamarine' Earrings 'Victorian Gothic'.

All of these lovely earrings which I'm now selling are over 50 years
old but still brand new. The settings came from a warehouse which
closed in the 1960s and gathered dust until recently. I've given
myself one of each shape and colour of all the earrings in the
collection and I'm finally selling the rest. They are rhodium
plated and 'aged' to look Victorian. (When they were made in the 1940s
they had black colouring rubbed into them by hand.) They are
lightweight and easy to wear but they still feel more substantial and
of better quality than recent copies.
The wires are modern, strong, surgical steet.
These earrings are set with vintage stones in "aquamarine" and the
little ones are "sapphire" (imitation of course). These were in their
original branded packets and are still as bright as brand new stones.
They look brighter in real life than they do in the photograph.
They are 36mm / 1.5 inches long.
There are very few of these earrings in existence and whether you are
a vintage enthusiast or someone who just appreciates beautiful things,
you'll enjoy wearing these.
I am happy to combine postage on items won within a week of each
other.
Incidentally, I generally post out all my treasures the weekend after
I receive payment as I am busy during the week. If you win one of mine
and you need it really quickly then do let me know and I'll dash down
to the post office for you.
