STUNNING SATIN GLASS LIDDED DISH WITH DRAGONFLY

This really is the most beautiful item, it's white satin glass and has a beautiful silver dragonfly on the lid. There are no visible hallmarks so I cannot say that it is silver, could be plated or another metal. It's very delicately crafted and I have added photographs to show the detail up a little closer. It's in perfect condition with no damage at all. The lid and bowl fit perfectly with a lovely wavy edge and the glass is cut on the outside but smooth satin finish on the interior. It's 3Â½ inches in diameter and 1Â½ inches deep, including the lid. This wonderfully opulent vase could only come from Venice, it is so richly gilded Stands 27 cm high (11") The neck is gilded, with two exquisitely hand painted panels on the body - surrounded with the same gilding. Spiralled stem is interspaced with gold. No chips or cracks in the glass or base (A tiny piece of one of the petals on one of the hand painted flowers is missing - see photo) Will weigh 1lb 4oz (550 grams) when packed.
