Fender USA Standard Stratocaster
This beautiful black Strat is in excellent condition. It's only had
very light home use.
There are a few minor surface marks but they are too fine to
photograph. There is no fret wear and the rosewood neck plays like a
dream. It has a lovely warm tone with a great sustain, I'll be really
sad to see her go.
It comes complete with tremolo and a snug fitting hard case (not
Fender).

Fender Stratocaster Style Body

THIS IS A HIGH QUALITY BODY MADE FROM SOLID WOOD
It is quite light which makes me think that it is made from basswood
alder or poplar.
The agathis bodies are much heavier than this which is perhaps why
Squiers are now around 3mm thinner.
This is a full thickness body just like my 62 Strat and would make a
superb basis for that "Blackie" project
It has bathtub routing and will take all types of pickups
It has a central block in the rout to retain strength and restore
sustain
The neck socket is 55mm wide and a Squier Strat neck was a perfect fit
when tried.
I removed this body from a new guitar with a faulty neck. The body is
perfect and predrilled for all hardware.

Fender Stratocaster '83 JV Squier 57 Reissue Strat Neck

You are bidding on an original complete Fender Stratocaster JV Squier
Made in Japan 1983 1957 Reissue Maple Neck. The neck is complete with
its original Kluson tuners and is just in need of a string tree - if
you've got one, you are ready to rock 'n' roll!
Unfortunately the previous owner has fitted a locking nut on the face
of the headstock at some point in the neck's life. This has left small
holes and an outline of the nut in the neck#s lacquer, which is a
shame, but once filled and with strings fitted, it will be barely
noticeable. The up side is that the tuners have never been removed and
it has never had another string guide fitted, so it looks pretty damn
cool and vintage!
There is some wear to the first 4 frets, but nothing too severe and
all of the other frets are cool.
The neck has that amazing amber tinted vintage look and it feels
great, just like every other JV Squier I've ever played. There's no
sharp 'V' like on the current 50s reissues, it is much more like a
comfortable 'C'. So much vintage vide there, it's great.
It still has its pencil date in place, which reads 4-9 '83.
There's also some nice plat wear to the back of the neck, just like a
real 50s!!!
All in all, this is a fab neck that's ready to go on your
relic/vintage Stratocaster project that blows away any other reissue
neck you're likely to come across.
