It is gold-plated with an embossed elephant, to honour the ingenious
idea of Franz Steiff.

This classic design bear is a limited edition especially for
2004. Made from a rich light brown / gold mohair, he is based on
a 1904 original and he has a gorgeous expression! He would be stunning
as the centre piece to any collection, or he would make a very special
gift.
He bears the CE safety mark and is tested to Steiff extremely high
safety standards. He has felt paw pads and hand stitched mouth nose
and claws.
He is 28 cm or 11 inches tall when standing up.
This bear is brand new, in mint condition and has not been displayed.
