Steiff Teddy Bear EAN 408519 limited edition 2004. This Teddy Bear is
jet-black and has been made before, namely in 1953 in a very small
series and in various sizes. A bidder at the 2002 festival took such a
fancy to the only known 35cm tall Teddy Bear in the series that he
paid £38,700 for him. And this is how one of the greatest Steiff
rarities dating from the period after the Second World War made a
come-back. Be enchated by his magic and secure this replica of an
extraordinary successful bear. This Bear has a gold-plated Button in
Ear with an embossed elephant. He is jointed, with glass eyes, surface
washable, and is number 2187 of a limited edition of 3000. He also has
a squeaker and is stuffed with wood shavings This must have bear can't
wait to sit in a cabinet or on a cushion and perhaps enjoy a cuddle
