For auction a set (3-SW) of Taylor Made RAC OS irons purchased for
£399. These irons are 3 months old fitted with regular steel shafts.
Clubs 3-PW have been regripped with the acclaimed Golf Pride Decade
grips @ £9 each. The 3,4 and SW have been used for 3 or so rounds
only. The are in great condition with only the usual minor impact
marks you would expect their limited age. These clubs have been
cleaned after every round - well looked after never
abused (wrapped around a tree, thrown in the river etc etc). TM blurb
:
RAC stands for Relative Amplitude Coefficient, a technology TaylorMade
engineers developed to improve the feel of our new line of wedges, and
characterized by the distinct Feel Pockets in the back of the
clubhead.
As great as they feel, RAC OS irons were designed with power in mind.
The Tuned Performance Cartridge contributes to the high moment of
inertia, providing power and stability across the entire clubface, and
permits improved center of gravity (CG) locations, making it easy to
get the ball in the air and promoting a penetrating ball flight.
Plus, each and every performance characteristic of the head, shaft and
grip is aligned to advance the production of power. The length,
torque, flex flexpoint and weight of each shaft have been carefully
calculated to work in concert with the loft of each clubhead to
deliver the greatest possible distance. That means that every bit of
your clubhead speed will be channeled into the ball, and every aspect
of the trajectory and spin rate is directed toward generating maximum
yardage.
