HORNBY MIB R033 BRITANNIA 'MORNING STAR' BR STEAM LOCO
Last Price: GBP45.00 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-10-31 12:30:00 This Hornby lot is one of a private collection that has been stored
since new and we are now selling this and other items on Ebay so
please see our other auctions if you are a collector of Triang &
Hornby 00 gauge examples that are only mint and boxed.
This collectable model is the powerful R033 British Rail 4-6-2
Britannia class 7MT steam locomotive âMorning Starââ. Introduced
in the early 1980âs, this model is in factory fresh mint condition
and is just as good as the day it left the production line. The
locomotive and tender are both in BR green and have been constructed
in the modern manner as self-coloured, ie not painted. The model has
all attached transfers intact and bares the running number 70021. The
original box is in a bright, intact, sharp unfaded condition and is
correctly labelled on the right hand end flap. This model is complete
with the white 2 part polystyrene base that enclose the model whilst
it is storage and the full colour graphics card that sits between the
model and the cellophane front of the box is also present. This is a
superb example of this hard to find model and as it is in an as new
unused factory fresh condition, be assured that you will not easily
find a better-presented example.
Because of the high quality of this item it would be welcome Christmas
present to either give or receive so bid with confidence on a very
fine quality item.
In keeping with real life auction practice and to mitigate the
ever-increasing costs of Internet auctions, a compulsory handling
charge of 4% of the price realised will be added to the winning
bidders invoice. If you do not accept this condition of the auction
then please do not bid.
As we regard a bid to buy as a contract to pay please ask any relevant
questions before you bid and please leave this item to genuine
collectors if you are not prepared to complete the transaction. The
auction currency is in £GBP sterling and we post any of our items to
the winning bidder anywhere in the world. We expect payment within 7
days of the auction end from all buyers and whilst UK buyers can pay
by cheque, postal orders, cash or PAYPAL, International customers
should be aware that they can only use the PAYPAL system. This item,
like all of our items, will be substantially packaged and quotation
for the full insurance with damage compensation we use for the sending
of all of our items is available upon request to serious bidders. We
do not pre-release reserve prices or end auctions early so thank you
for looking at our auction and good luck with your bidding.
