I am selling my original VINTAGE 1977 Star Wars DARTH VADER TIE
FIGHTER. It is a Palitoy model and has it's original box. The vehicle
is in very good condition, the only things missing from it are 5 of
the stickers from its right hand wing (this can be seen in the
photos).
This is the model where you can eject the wings to simulate a "hit".
The cockpit has a seat which moves up and down. It also has a button
activated "Laser Light" (requires 2 AA batteries, not included). One
thing to note here, when the light is activated there is an
accompanying "Space Sound". To my ears, now, this is quite an annoying
sound and I'm pretty sure it's "worn" with age and doesn't sound like
it should! However, it's been so long (20yrs+) since I last heard it,
I can't remember if this is how it's supposed to sound or not! At any
rate, the light and "noise" still work!
I'll include the Tie-Fighter Pilot as a bonus!
The box is in pretty good condition bearing in mind its age. The ARE
some small tears, creases and marks and it HAS warped slightly. There
is a small amount of blue paint on the upper side of the back cover.
There is no box "insert" as I don't think it came with one. I will, of
course, wrap and pack it securely for postage. All the things I've
mentioned can be seen clearly in the photos below.
I WILL ONLY POST WITHIN THE UK AND TO THE USA!
