This is a very rare and collectable set for the Star Trek/ phonecard
fan.
Named: Star Trek The Pilot Episodes, it is set no. 00463 STATOS 1
It is a special glossed presentation pack that is full of information
of the legendary 'Pilot Episodes' from the Original Star Trek series.
Please look at the pictures.
The inside page/ cover gives a complete cast profile, stardate and the
episode content of the episodes:
* “ The Cageâ€
* “ Where No Man Has Gone Beforeâ€
The episode “The Cageâ€, was set 10yrs before Kirk took the helm -
when the 1st Captain of the Enterprise NCC 1701, was Captain
Christopher Pike and these cards depict his encounter at Talos IV with
the Tallosians.
Spock was actually present in both 'pilot' episodes.
Now to the cards themselves:
There are a total of 10 phonecards, all with an individual £4 value.
All the phonecards are unused, in perfect condition and are housed in
a special protective sleeve/ pocket that also acts a turnable page.
This set is just 1 of just 2000 sets ever produced worldwide with
matching, consecutive serial numbers.
They are:
* SSC 147 – The Cage: Rigellion Castle
* SSC 148 – The Cage: Captain Pike
* SSC 149 – The Cage: Vena
* SSC 150 – The Cage: Tallosian
* SSC 151 – The Cage: Beast
* SSC 152 – Where No Man Has Gone Before: U.S.S Enterprise
* SSC 153 – Where No Man Has Gone Before: Captain Kirk
* SSC 154 – Where No Man Has Gone Before: Kirk and Spock
* SSC 155 – Where No Man Has Gone Before: Crew
* SSC 156 – Where No Man Has Gone Before: Mitchell
Each phonecard depicts images from the above-mentioned episodes.
There really is so much attention to detail contained within all these
sets, even the back of the phonecards makes up an image of the
Starfleet Insignia.
The back page/ cover has a special glossed photo quality print of the
depicted image on the face of the phonecard.
There is also a separate, glossed Certificate of Authenticity card
that has all the relevant, then, activation procedures.
These cards were released in 1998, licensed by Paramount Pictures and
produced by SpaceGroup- Subspace Communications.
They are 100% MINT! And…
