Sigma's new Hyper Sonic Motors (H.S.M.) provide silent, responsive
autofocus action with Canon, Sigma, and now Nikon AF cameras. H.S.M.
also permits manual adjustment of focus without the necessity of
switching off the autofocus function. Focus Free mechanism keeps the
manual focus ring from spinning when the camera is autofocusing. This
new lens features apochromatic optical design and four elements
composed of Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass for high image
contrast, resolution and color saturation. The front barrel does not
rotate during focusing, due to internal focusing system. Internal
zooming mechanism allows the lens length to remain constant during
zooming.

Wow! Hold on to your seat, this one has NO RESERVE! My Nikon AF
Zoom-Nikkor ED 80-200mm f/2.8D lens. I am a private UK seller with
100% positive feedback. This lens has been personally owned by me from
new. It is in very very nice condition. It comes complete and boxed.
Current price on this lens is £769.90. This is the most recent (non
AFS/VR) version of this lens and with the tripod collar. It is a
beautifully made rock solid professional grade lens. Where do I start?
I have only shot about 400 images on this lens. I am now about to
spend a (small) fortune on even more amazing Nikon lenses so this one
has to go. This lens will work with just about every Nikon camera body
ever made, manual or autofocus, digital or film. I have been using
this on both my FM3a and D70. This lens has almost NO distortion. It
has the important "D" in it's title which means that it sends back
subject to camera distance information, meaning more accurate
exposure. The "ED" lens elements give the lens superior sharpness and
contrast. On a D70 or other digital body it gives a very useful focal
range of 120mm-300mm at f2.8! It focusses very close down to five
feet. It has very fast accurate autofocus, or great manual focus
selectable from the lens. It is unmarked and optically and
mechanically perfect. This beautiful lens comes complete with the
Nikon front and rear caps (new style), the CL-43A hard case and strap,
HB-7 lens hood, instructions and Nikon gold box. The item is located
in Preston, Lancashire not Hong Kong! So no nasty suprises like VAT
and import duty to pay when it arrives. Don't miss out on this one.
