Lima BR Bogie Parcel Van Siphon G, in BR Blue Livery, Running Number
2982, Catalogue Number L305353. Made in Italy in 1978 only.
Following the interest shown in my listings over the last few days I
have been in the loft for another selection to offer you.
This Siphon Van is absolutely Brand New and has never been run since
it left the factory in Italy at least twenty six years ago. It has
only been removed from the box for the photograph. Its Silver/Red &
White box is in mint fresh condition only showing a mark where a price
tag has been.
This Siphon was bought new buy me from the local model shop, as most
of my items were and has been in storage ever since.
Good Lima rolling stock is now very rare, this is one of the set of 5
siphons I am listing produced between 1978 & 1981 by Lima for the UK
market. It is a lovely model. I suspect that it will be almost
impossible to find another factory fresh one like this. This is
a serious collector’s item.
Please note I am listing one of each of the 5 Siphon's produced by
Lima, all new and unrun, out of the box for the photo only. So if you
want the set now is your chance! If the same bidder wins all 5 UK
postage will be free.
This is one of the many similar items specially selected from my
