The Hei-Matau design of fish hook represents strength, prosperity,
abundance, fertility and a great respect for the sea. It promises good
fortune and safety when travelling over water.
Hei-Matau are also symbols of power and authority which are held in
great reverence by the Maori people.
They were used as a practical tool for fishing and were often
decorated as a sign of respect for the creatures of the sea.

Fab pair of belly dance earings. BRAND NEW!! GOLD in colour. (The
flash has made them look a little silver but they are definitely
gold). These have a round hoop and coins dangling from them. They make
a jangley noise! They are 10cm (approx) in length.
Just ideal as an extra for belly dancing.
