This version of the MZ-R700, with its PC Link, allows you to record
MP3, WAV and more from your PC directly onto your MD.
The MDLP Long Time Stereo Recording and Playback lets you record 2x
(LP2) or 4x (LP4) longer on an 80 minute MiniDisc to provide as much
as 320 minutes (over 5 hours ) of music with excellent sound quality.
The skip-free G-Protection technology makes the MD Walkman an ideal
on-the-go companion, with an advanced system that provides more than
10-times faster shock recovery compared to conventional systems, and
ensuring perfect playback performance without skipping even during
active uses as jogging.
It's Stick Style Remote Control with editing function provides direct
access to the player's functions and has stereo mini-jack on remote
for headphones.
The Digital Mega Bass sound system provides rich, deep bass tones and
the digital recording level control allows you to achieve a consistent
recording level on your MiniDisc, no matter what the source of your
recording.
It also features Multiple Playback Modes including: Normal,Repeat
(1/All/Shuffle/Program). Shuffle lets you play through a MiniDisc from
start to end, or repeat one track or all tracks, or play tracks in
random (shuffle) order.
The MZ-R700PC provides up to 53 Hours Playback. This is a result of
the advanced Sony engineering providing long battery life.

SONY PORTABLE MINIDISC RECORDER
YOU COULD CALL THIS 'BRAND NEW' AS I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX PLUGGED
IN, CHARGED THE BATTERY THEN ATTEMPTED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS -
THAT'S WHEN IT WENT OVER MY HEAD.
POSSIBLY I AM TOO OLD TO UNDERSTAND ALL THIS TECHNICAL JARGON AND
HOPEFULLY NOT AN IDIOT!
As you can see from pictures still in original box - still has
everything intact even down to the Sony carrying case - the only thing
missing is the cellophane wrapping!

Recording minidisc player. There are a couple of dents and marks on the
front, these are superficial - the recorder is in good working order.
This comes in the original box with instructions.
It features a remote control for the major functions. There is also an
LCD screen on the front of the player to let you know what song you're
playing, battery life etc.
There is a rechargeable battery pack , which I have not used for a
while (so not sure how long it lasts) a screw-on battery case so you
can use 2 AA batteries, a soft carry case and a mains transformer.
I've used this player to record minidiscs and it does a great job. If
using a digital source, the Synchro recording feature is really useful
as the player only starts recording when the music starts.
It also has Mega Bass, ALVS and a shock resistant memory.
I'll include 5 used Mini disks, which can be re-used and a tape
adapter so you can use it in a car stereo.
