at all, the camcorder comes complete with warrenty as bought. The
information below is the information of the manufacturer. The picture
is the picture from the manufacturers web site, it is exactly the same
(guaranteed), we did not want to break open the packaging and unwrap
the camcorder for the sake of a photo. (if the winner would like us to
open the box & packaging and take a photo we will be happy to do so

CAMERA INFO:
These new DV cameras keep getting better and better. The DV5000
features 4.1MP resolution and an amazing seven functions!
The new DV5000 does everything you could possibly want and more. Use
it as a camcorder, a stills camera, an MP3 player, a voice recorder, a
PC webcam and even a USB portable disk! And the whole camera is small
enough to fit into the smallest of pockets! The cameras MPEG 4
compression technology does an incredible job of reducing file sizes
meaning you can store 9 minutes of video without any extra storage, or
450 low res still pictures. The camera also has a built-in microphone
to make sure your movies have a great soundtrack.
The 1.5" TFT LCF screen serves as an excellent viewfinder and playback
screen. There is also a built-in flash for taking well exposed still
pictures. The camera also has a 4x digital zoom that is perfect for
zooming in on the action.There are some funky settings, offering the
choice of black and white photography and film, and sepia or mosaic
effects, in addition to normal colour.
Three software programs included in the package, your creativity can
run wild producing any look you want for your images and video
footage. The DV5000 is compatible with both SD (Secure Digital) and
MMC (Multi Media) cards, so if you want to store more hi res footage
or pics simply insert a card into the memory slot.
It comes with a comprehensive instruction manual and installation CD
to help you up and running in no time. The camera uses 2 standard AA
batteries (two are included) so you will have no trouble when out and
