Here is one of these mysterious jigsaw puzzles including Inspector Cross by BePuzzled called simply A CLASSIC CASE OF MURDER. For the jigsaw bidding sleuth, here indeed is a great puzzle to solve. Victoria Teasdale never knew what hit her. She was within the safety of her home, awaiting the arrival of her loving husband. She was ready to celebrate the purchase of the newest addition to his collection of classic cars; a rare 1936 Cord. but Derek was late. so late that she passed the time writing letters to friends and wanting to be sure to catch the morning mail pick up, she went out into the warm night, crossing her driveway to the mail box on the other side. Suddenly there was the roar of a powerful V8 engine and in one terrible tick of time, the rich and happy world of Victoria Teasdale came to an end. At least that was the story her husband told. nothing but an accident, he said and everyone including the local police believed him. But then, Derek Teasdale had another misfortune, he met another lover of classic cars, a very perceptive man named Inspector Cross. the Inspector took a good hard look at the accident scene and came up with an amazing one word conclusion, and that word was murder! --------------------------------------------------------------------- The High Bidder has a short story by Henry Slesar to read before completing the puzzle, in so doing the High Bidder will search for clues and if all goes well will be able to solve the mystery and find out whodunit, there is always the chance that the murderer might get to him/her first though! When completed the 1000 piece jigsaw measures 23 x 29 inches. It was produced by Bepuzzled in 1994. The box measures approximately 9" x 11" and is complete with some damage to the tuck in flaps at the top and bottom - the puzzle inside has not been verified for completeness but was assured by the previous owner to be complete.
