A Jigsaw Puzzle Murder Mystery from BePuzzled
500-piece 20"x20" full-colour jigsaw puzzle with an eight-page story
booklet
Published 1988
Read the story, assemble the puzzle and interpret the clues in the
puzzle picture to solve the mystery.
Art by Frank McLaughlin.
Story by Mike W. Barr who has written comics including Batman, Captain
America and Superman.
In this case a satirical comic strip artist has been shot by one of
his targets.
Complete in very good condition.
If you have any questions or want more photographs please ask. I aim
to respond within 24 hours. I will never end an item early for an
off-eBay sale because it annoys me when I see it as a buyer so please
do not ask me to do this.
After placing your bid, check out my other auctions. I offer reduced
shipping on multiple items.
Several people have written to me when they were outbid in the last
few seconds of an auction. They asked if I had another identical item
(which I rarely do) or wished to be considered if the winning bidder
failed to complete (which has only happened once). You can avoid being
disappointed in this way by exploiting one of eBay's neatest features:
the proxy bid. Place your maximum bid now and eBay will handle your
bidding for you.
Proxy bidding ensures that your bid cannot be beaten at the last
moment by an amount that you would have been willing to pay. EBay does
not reveal your maximum bid; the system bids the lowest increment that
will win the item (up to your maximum) even when later bids arrive.
Imagine an item currently priced at £5 for which you would happily
pay £60. Rather than bidding the minimum of £5.50, you should enter
your maximum of £60. The proxy bidding system immediately shows a bid
of £5.50 and if no-one else bids that is all that you will pay. If
someone later bids £25 the proxy bidding automatically shows you to
have bid £26. And so it goes until the auction ends or somebody else
enters a bid higher than your maximum, in which case they win and you
do not mind (too much) because the price was higher than you wished to
pay. You cannot rely on your reaction speed to secure the last bid;
the system will always be faster so make the most of it.
Some people don't know about this and some simply don't trust it. I
have used it hundreds of times and it has not yet failed me. So don't
bid the minimum, bid your maximum; it will never cost you more and it
will win you more auctions.

I M P O R T A N T !
PLEASE READ BELOW !

When the auction closes, if you are the winning bidder, you don't need
to wait for me to contact you. Simply add the shipping charges to the
amount of your winning bid. Then select a payment option and submit
your payment for the amount of your winning bid plus your shipping
costs.
Shipping Options and Cost
For shipment within the UK, please add £2.00 to the amount of your
winning bid to cover postage, packing and handling. Insurance for this
item is £3.50.
If you win multiple auctions please email me for reduced shipping
prices.
For international shipping it is in your own interest to email me for
a price before bidding.
Payment Options
I prefer fund transfers to my bank account (20-44-51 60069566 T
CLARKE), cheques (drawn on a UK bank), postal orders and Moneybookers.
I also accept FastPay, Nochex and PayPal. If you wish to pay by any
other means please email me before bidding. I do not ship until I have
received cleared funds; this can take up to a week from receipt. For
your protection, please do not send cash. If your bank is outside the
UK you also need to know that my Bank Number is the SWIFT code
BARCGB22.
I accept payment using NOCHEX [IMAGE]
I will email you when I ship your items. Under English law I am not
responsible for internet auction items lost or damaged in the mail
unless the damage arises from my negligence (and believe me, I try
very hard to avoid that). I always obtain proof of postage and I
recommend that you take insurance when your winning bid is above the
£28 that is the limit to the standard cover included in Royal Mail
First Class and Standard Parcel postage.
I like to think that I am a reasonable person and I value your
satisfaction and my reputation. I try hard to describe items
accurately and to identify any characteristics that may affect your
bidding. All measurements are approximate. If you have any concerns or
difficulties please contact me so that we can work things out
promptly.
If I do not receive payment within seven days of the closing date of
the auction I may relist the item or offer it to the next highest
bidder. I will leave negative feedback for non-payers (although I have
only had one and I accidentally left her positive feedback).
