For sale here is a lovely glass clown vase by Murano. It stands 8 inches tall and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. He has a red clown's hat with two white buttons on it, yellow hair and big clown eyes, nose and mouth. His neck is a swirly pattern or yellows, blues, browns and oranges. A truly gorgeous item - would make a fantastic Christmas present. Please email me with any questions or if you require further photos. STUNNING 11.5" TALL" TWISTED" MURANO VASE NR

This is a really beautiful piece of MURANO art glass. It is in the shape of a bottle or vase with a fluted neck that has been twisted very artistically. The body has multi-colour swirls in it and flecks of reflective silver all over. It looks fabulous lit but of course the photo doesn't do it justice. This piece stands just under 11.5" tall and is is just over 4.5" wide. On the base is the original manufacturers sticker which reads VETRERIA ARTISTICA, TFZ INTERNATIONAL, MURANO- VENEZIA -ITALIA. The base has been ground and there is a slight imperfection on the edge of the base that has also been ground out (just visible at the bottom of the base picture) , I imagine that this was done by the factory. This does not show when the vase is displayed. For the sake of accuracy there are also a couple of little raised bubble imperfections on the body of the item, one near the centre and one on the other side near the neck. These in no way detract from the beauty and craftsmanship of this piece. There are no chips, cracks or fleabites present and this stunning item is offered for sale with no reserve. In a stunning combination of blue & creamy white cased glass, with swirls of golden coloured copper Aventurine! The dish has a lovely rippled effect which spirals in to the centre.
