Mounted movie cell presentation
Movie cells are extremely collectable and come in a wide variety of
styles and formats (to say nothing of prices!) but these presentations
are unlike anything else you will find on Ebay.
These mini quad presentations combine the latest computer-controlled
mount-cutting techniques with the traditional skills of a time-served
picture framer. The result is a top-quality movie collectable that
also looks terrific just hung on the wall as a piece of art. They are
supplied UNFRAMED so that you can frame them to your taste.
Each presentation brings together:
* two strips of seven cells showing two different scenes from the
film hand-picked to show key characters or scenes
* original mini-quad poster
* bevel-cut windows displaying the cells
* limited edition of 25 with signed and numbered certificate
* supplied UNFRAMED for you to frame as you choose
* professional quality materials
* highest standards of construction and finishing
Each piece measures 16" x 12" (406mm x 305 mm) and is unframed. It is
ready to drop into a standard 16" x 12" frame which you can obtain
from your local framing store. We can also frame the piece for you in

produced by the movie-studios - The items are old but it is tough to
put an exact date on them due to the wars in Europe as you can read
below.

Origin: Continental Europe ( Spain + Other Countries) - Well known to
smaller (mini) poster collectors - Easier to collect in binders - And
most are very very rare hard to find lay-outs.
Paper stock ?: "Very Old" - "rough"
Paper is old - smells like very old books
Condition: We only sell those in the best condition we can locate -
Size: Each Herald - Mini Poster minimum 5.00" X 4.50" inches (or
approx 13X12cm) - And from there some titles go upwards in size (means
: bigger depending on lay-out - rectangular or square )

WHAT IS A MINI POSTER ?
Mini-Posters also called "heralds", or "handbills" - These movie
heralds were used to announce, advertise or promote a forthcoming
feature movie. They were intended for local distribution. In theory,
heralds were passed out on the street, in movie theatres/cinema
lobbies, or to announce 16mm roadshows or projections in tiny towns in
mainland Europe ..These Mini-Posters were most likely produced by a
local cinema, organiser of 16mm movie projections, using stock
graphics and text.

Easy to collect in binders ...
Collecting Mini Posters is great fun if you like small due to lack of
space - Compare it with collecting stamps, tobacco cards or adds ...
Today space becomes expensive - great way to collect & enjoy a
collection -
If you can appreciate rare little items , this buy is for you.
Otherwise you should go for "Bigger Size" - It will not be easy to
locate them in bigger size and the price tag will be accordingly - (
Huge !!) We only try to locate items that smell very old - Due to
wars, distribution problems with movies - it is tough to tell if the
item was printed in the year the movie was released - Remember , the
war-years ( WWII and Spanish Civil War ) - Caused delays in bringing
out many movies in Europe...
