This is a brand NEW (boxed) network adapter for Mac from the US company
Zonet which specializes in high-quality network products.
The ethernet card supports both 10 and 100Mbit.
32-bit PCI Bus Master architecture for good performance.
Software drivers for MacOS 8.5-9.x as well as 10.1 and 10.2.x (Jaguar)
are included on a diskette. Drivers can also be downloaded from the
net if you don't have a floppy drive. In case you need a 10/100 Mbit
network card that runs on MacOS 8.1 then I do have another brand
compatible with that early OS version (please contact me).
The card has an industry standard RJ-45 network connector for
connection to a LAN or DSL.
The card can also be installed as a second network card and function
as a internet gateway router (3rd party software will be required).
This card supports Full-duplex mode which permits IP-phone
applications.
This card is fully Mac compatible. It supports the sleep and "deep
sleep" modes of PowerMac G3 and G4 computers.
System Requirements for using this card: Any Macintosh computer with a
PCI bus. And MacOS 8.5 or later.
Please note:
This card does unfortunately not work with the new PowerMac G5 series.
Drivers are not yet available for MacOS X 10.3 (Panther).
The card is sold with a 3 months warranty.
Shipping and payment:
