accept Postal Money Order. If you use personal checks, I will send
your items to you after I encash the check (This process will take

About Snuffbox
Snuff was come of Indiana America. In 15th century, snuff was found by
European seafarer, and brought back to Europe. In the end of 16th
century, snuff was taken to China. Although snuff and snuffbox is
exotic, they were in fashion in China in short order.
Early 18th century, snuffbox made by Chinese craftsmen were in fashion
and exported to Europe. Chinese craftsmen made all kinds of
workmanlike snuffbox with many materials, such as glass, emerald,
bijou, jade, china, lacquer, metal, and etc. More rare material, more
exalted owner. Some connoisseur said that, " No other art like
snuffbox have prime of the history, art, craft."
Sure, Snuffbox is a kind of wonderful art from China. Snuffbox is
quintessence of Chinese culture.
About snuffbox with picture inside
Picture inside snuffbox is a kind of wonderful art from China. This
art come into being in Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong period, early
18th century. Now, the art of snuffbox with picture inside has four
schools: Beijing school, Shandong school, Hebei School and Guangdong
School.
Beijing Faction
Now in the picture snuffbox four schools origin from Beijing, Beijing
school has the longest history. Beijing is the Chinese Capital in
both Ming and Qing Dynasties, also is in the picture snuffbox
birthplace. The famous master of Beijing faction is Zhou leyuan, Ma
Shaochun and Ye zhongsan.
Shandong Faction
Picture of Shandong faction is the labor converges in Poshan
Shandong. Shandong faction came into being in Qing Dynasty , Chinese
year Guangxu 9 ( year 1890) . They can paint picture inside glass
snuffbox with glaze, then roast to glaze painting. This kind of
snuffbox picture is waterproof. The famous artist of Shandong faction
is Mr. Bi jiurong and Mr. Li kechang.
Hebei Faction
Hebei faction came into being in 20th century. They paint pictures as
traditional Chinese painting and canvas. The painting tools is unique
clasp pen with metal handle. Most craftsmen are in Hengshui city Hebei
province of China. The father of Hebei faction is Mr. Wang xisan.
Guangdong Faction
Guangdong faction is the youngest school in snuffbox picture. Picture
of Guangdong faction is with flamboyant color and decorations. The
most famous artist in Guangdong faction is Mr. Wu songling.
