HORNBY DUBLO RARE LARGE SAFETY VALVE 2217 0-6-2 TANK IN WORKING ORDER. No marks to the black paint work. Transfers undamaged but very slight glossing to the raised edges through handling and a couple of minor marks to the silver buffer heads. Box in excellent condition, no splits, slight scuffing at the edges. A comparison photo is show of the standard safety valve (FOR COMPARISON ONLY NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION, ONE ITEM ONLY). HORNBY DUBLO RARE L12 MONTROSE IN L12 BOX NR MINT

HORNBY DUBLO RARE L12 DUCHESS OF MONTROSE LOCOMOTIVE. This being the last production Montrose. In near mint condition, very slight glossing to the paint on the top of the boiler. Otherwise unmarked. The difference can be seen in the casting from the close up photo of the inside of the cab roof. This model is in its correct, extremely rare, L12 box. Box has a date underneath of 2/60, so stamped in February 1960. Box for locomotive has the rare single yellow insert using packing rings. Condition is generally very good, scuffing around the edges. Tender box is in similar condition, scuffing around edges but complete. Again is the late type simple flap box with packing rings . Buyer pays packing and postage. PLEASE SEE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS.
