This is a very pretty necklace featuring mottled pink glass beads on
gold-tone bar links. In excellent condition, it measures over 31" in
length and has two spring-ring clasps. I don't know if both clasps are
original or if one was added later to enable the necklace to wrap
twice around the neck and still close easily ? It is a very pretty
necklace and the colouring of the beads is very unusual. Looks lovely
worn with a high neck sweater. I'm not sure of the age of this
necklace - could be as early as 1920's or a later copy of an Art Deco
style. The beads are each 5/16" in diameter - one bead has a silvery
black spot. This is not damage but rather a flaw in the glass. Any
questions, please ask.
Please note that all my pieces are antique or vintage and as such will
have borne the passage of time and so will inevitably show some signs
of normal wear.
