Without using naked flames, flammable spirit or gas, the water in this
superbly engineered model locomotive can be safely heated by
electricity, and then superheated within the locomotive to produce
enough steam energy to run the model for at least 20 minutes.
This first Live Steam locomotive comes in a special set, which
contains a seperate control box and transformer unit, large oval of
track, several maintenance tools and a 1000ml bottle of distilled
water

IT IS IN AS NEW CONDITION BUT IS UNBOXED.
IT IS IN "A.T.&S.F." LIVERY OF BLACK WITH WHITE DETAIL. IT HAS THE
RUNNING NUMBER 3283.
ALTHOUGH THIS MODEL IS NEW I HAVE RUN IT FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES JUST TO
MAKE SURE IT WORKS. IT IS A VERY GOOD RUNNER GOING FORWARD BUT A BIT
TEMPERMENTAL IN REVERSE. I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE THE PICK-UPS ARE ON
THE TENDER AND THE MOTOR IS IN THE LOCO. AS THE LOCO PUSHES, THE
CONTACTS MOVE SLIGHTLY OUT OF LINE. I'M SURE A SLIGHT BEND IN THE
CONTACTS ON THE COUPLING WILL SORT THE PROBLEM OUT.
