locomotive numbered 61315 in weathered BR mixed traffic livery –
late crest.
On Farish 5-pole Black five chassis – good runner.
Locomotive is fully detailed, including:

* Whistle
Fully detailed scratchbuilt tender with:
* “Coal†that actually looks like coal!

* Lamp brackets

* Vacuum and steam pipes
* Turned brass buffers
* Modified Farish chassis - correct wheelbase - with cast brass
axleboxes
The loco and tender are painted black with mixed traffic lining and
weathered to look prototypically “usedâ€.
Built by a previous winner of the N Gauge Society annual model-making
competition.
This loco was spotted on a passenger train “on Midland lines†in
Birmingham in July 1962 (and there’s a photo to prove it). At this
time it was allocated to Sheffield Darnall shed.
