Yes, really! Genuine, real Welsh small washed coal, ideal for N gauge
model railway use in open wagons, tenders, or staithes.
This is slowly becoming harder to find.
Have you ever tried making it? Very messy and somewhat time consuming.
Sufficient for about 20 open N wagons (only seven '00' wagons are
shown in the photo and the N coal is finer than that shown in them); a
lot more if you put a false base underneath the load. OK, so it may
be dusty if handled a lot, just like the real thing because it is the
real thing.
Comes complete in recycled plastic bottle dispenser which allows
accurate and easy pouring.
If you don't want to keep it in loose form, water down some PVA glue
(about 3 water to 1 PVA) and pour a little over each wagon or staithe
onto the coal, and this should 'fix' it in place - the white residue
should disappear overnight as it dries.
Also suitable for 00 gauge as 'fines' or small coal - about enough
for 7 x 10 ton wagons.
US Buyers please remember this is fairly heavy, suggest for UK use
only.
