ASSOCIATED WITH SWAMPY HABITATS, IT IS NOT AT ALL LIMITED TO THEM, IT
MAKES A PICTURESQUE BONSAI WITH ITS REDDISH-BROWN BARK, FIBROUS, THIN,
AND DIVIDED INTO SMALL, FLAT RIDGES AND SHALLOW FURROWS.
THE LEAVES OF THE CYPRESS TREE SPREAD IN FLAT PLANES IN A FEATHERY
PATTERN ON ITS BRANCHLETS.
IT CAN BE GROWN OUTSIDE IN ZONES 4 - 9 AND DOES WELL IN GARDENS AND
MAKES A MAGNIFICENT FEATURE.
