An English collector plate by Harpers of Staffordshire. White glazed
and decorated with a coloured print of a Yorkshire Terrier dog. 8" in
diameter. MINT condition and fully back stamped.

This 8" or 190mm plate was made by Spode. Founded in 1733 and famous
worldwide for their reputation of manufacturing superior quality fine
bone china. This plate is British at its best! Superb quality, perfect
condition, and as you can see from the photograph the detail on this
plate is fantastic! The embossed Spode pattern around the edge adds
to its value. The important Spode registered stamp is on the back of
the plate. There is also the wording Fine Bone China and England. The
plate has been hand decorated using traditional methods, with a
picture of an Old English Sheepdog, by one of the smaller potteries.
This would not only make a great collectable gift for
any Sheepdog lover, but as a Spode piece of china it is an
