Long Play (MDLP) for extended recording time. This feature offers
the user 2 or 4 times the playing time of Standard Play in digital
stereo, allowing up to 320 minutes playing time on one 80 minute
MiniDisc - that's over 5 hours!

The MT880 unit was dropped a few days after I bought it, and the
battery compartment door wouldn't close properly afterwards. I secure
it with silver tape, and it has absolutely no effect of the normal use
of the unit (see attached picture). Otherwise the unit is in great
condition.
The software installs in Japanese, but is in English when running. You
can also just load the drivers from the CD, and run Sony's Sonic Stage
or Real Player 10 to copy tracks to the player. I have included the US
version of the OMG Jukebox software to upgrade the Japanese version,
and the Sonic Stage Launcher app (it will download the files it needs
from the Net).
This is a great package, with loads included, and in my opinion, this
unit sounds better than any of my other mp3 players.
