ART DECO
FEMALE GLASS FIGURE
FROG/CENTREPIECE.
The figure is in perfect condition, stands
8" tall. She is wearing period
clothes, the top half is un-draped.

In clear frosted glass, no makers mark.
The bowl is the same kind of glass as the figure,
clear & frosted, the base is star-cut with wear,
& there are three small chips to
the inside edge of the bowl.
The texture of the glass & quality of moulding
suggest it was possibly made by Jobling or
Sowerby, from the 1930s/40s.
A really good quality piece of pressed glass.

Art Deco Tango Loetz Michael Powolny type vase

A vibrant orange and black Loetz squat vase, measuring just under 3
inches tall and dating from around 1920. Very much in the manner of
similar pieces designed for Loetz by Michael Powolny, the bright
orange of the body is contrasted by an applique black rim and vertical
included stripes. The underisde bears a polished out pontil mark and
the piece is in good undamaged condition. Buyer to pay actual shipping

This is a very pretty and quite striking lime glass vase. It has an
18 panel / rib / flute with drape or fishscale pattern in the lower
part.
5 7/8" tall with a rim diameter of 4 1/4" & base diameter 2". It is a
three 3 part mold. It is quite heavy weighing 600gms.
The colour is wonderful, lime green, looks like uranium glass but it
isn't, it just has a luminescent glow under normal light
(unfortunately I couldn't capture the full beauty of this glass).
Underneath it is marked with an embossed 'Foreign' in a circle.
It is in good condition with no cracks, chips or hairlines but there
are some tiny bubbles and a couple of straw marks, though these
defects do not impede on the beauty of this piece.
I think it dates to between 1900 & 1930.
