You are bidding on a magnificent, Art Deco, glass centrepiece bowl
with frog or flower holder, dating from about the 30's and made by an
English glass maker, but am uncertain which one.
This is a very large piece of glass and is done in a beautiful rosey
pink colour. The bowl itself is 11 1/2" in diameter and has a lovely
curvaceous and scalloped design to it, so indicative of the Nouveau,
Deco era. On the outside of the bowl are six sets of lines leading
into the centre of the bowl. There is a well where the frog sits
securely. It is stunning. It is also a very heavy piece of glass!
The frog stands 1 1/2" high and is 5 1/2" in diameter. It is in the
same rosey pink glass and has twelve flower holes. Truly magnificent!
This beautiful centrepiece is in lovely condition. The bowl is free
from any chips, cracks or restoration. Wonderful! The frog is also in
excellent condition. There perhaps could have been a figurine that
sits inside the frog, but I have never had one and to be honest, looks
stunning the way it is! A beautiful centrepiece indeed! Superb!
For the glass, art glass, Nouveau or Deco collector, this is a must to
add to your collection. It is so very pretty. It will look so pretty
on your sideboard or your dining room table! Treat yourself or someone
special on your gift giving list for the upcoming holidays. They won't
know how to thank you enough. I hate to see it go! Don't miss out!

* Round bowl standing on 3 feet
* 3.7 inches diameter at rim, about 3.75 inches high to top of knob
* There are chips on the feet and on the lid; all but one of the
chips on the lid are very small and on the inside
* There is a manufacturing flaw in the glass which looks like a
crack but is in fact smooth to the touch
* Uncertain of age, but certainly looks to be in the deco style
* Glows under UV light
