A Victorian Cut Vaseline Glass Wine Glass
NO RESERVE !
<! DESCRIPTION >This is
a beautiful vaseline (uranium) glass wine glass. The cup shaped bowl
has been deeply cut with a diamond pattern and the thick baluster stem
has six vertical cuts extending up into the base of the bowl. The
applied foot has a 24 point star cut into its base. It also has lead
in the glass as it is quite heavy and has a nice 'ring' to it when
tapped. It is not marked (signed) but I believe it is English and
dates to the latter half of the 19th Century.
In normal daylight the glass a vivid green with a "glow" to it. The
photo below on the right with the black background was taken in
darkness with illumination from an Ultra Violet lamp
(Blacklight). The glass gives a positive reading of 0.72 mR/hr and
2300 CPM on a Medcom "Inspector" Digital Geiger Counter.

This Victorian wine glass is in excellent condition with no
chips, cracks or any other damage.
It is just under 5 inches high, 2¾ inches in diameter and weighs 127
grams ( 4½oz )

~ Putting The Buyer 1st.
FREE INSURANCE COVER: The insurance stated in the table above
is 'Proof of Delivery' only and provides very basic cover, which is
often far less than the actual value of the item. So in addition, I
ensure that the item has FULL COVER insurance ( At NO extra cost to
the buyer ). This Free Full Cover insurance means the buyer will
always be able to receive a guaranteed FULL REFUND of the item cost
PLUS shipping costs in the unlikely event of any damage or loss during
shipping. This also ensures that I package well !
RETURNS AND REFUNDS If on receipt you are not satisfied with an
item for any reason then, providing you notify me within 3 days of
receiving the item, you can return it in its original packaging for a
full refund (Buyer pays the return shipping costs). If however, I have
failed to notice any damage, repair or in any way inaccurately
described the item, then I will also refund the full return shipping
costs.
HANDLING & PACKAGING: I package all items BEFORE they are listed
for sale so buyers know the true cost of shipping BEFORE purchase. I
package and label all items very professionally so that they arrive
undamaged and use new (recycled cardboard) boxes and biodegradable
fill (chippings) whenever possible. Buyers can also be assured that
there is No Charge for Handling or Packaging nor any other hidden
charges.
COMBINING SHIPPING: If a buyer purchases multiple items they can
be assured that whenever possible I can always combine a shipment of
items to reduce the costs for the benefit of the buyer. The
combination of items for shipping would of course be subject to the
maximum limit on the weight and the physical size of the package which
would be determined by the shipping company used.
BUYER PROTECTION: I always try to sell items on eBay with a
friendly attitude but also in a professional manner. I am a Square
Trade member, which is important, as it means I have made a genuine
commitment to provide a high quality of service to buyers. Thus any
buyer can make a purchase with the knowledge that: they will be
contacted promptly with easy to understand payment details (No Hidden
Charges!), that it will be shipped speedily on receipt of payment and
will arrive safely with a customer friendly returns / refunds policy.
WHEN DO I SHIP ? : I believe that one of the most important
factors in achieving customer satisfaction is the speedy delivery of
the item that has been purchased. That is why I always try, whenever
possible, to ship an item on the same day that I receive the payment
for it (Or the next working day if payment is received outside normal
post office working hours).
PRIVACY STATEMENT: Buyers are required to voluntarily provide me
with certain personal details, such as their name and address by
e-mail, as part of the normal purchase and shipment process. Apart
from addressing a package for shipment, buyers have the assurance that
any personal information that a buyer provides me with will Never be
