Topper comic 47 - The First XMAS issue: Scarce! Special issues including Christmas, Fireworks, Easter and New Year are collectable and so fairly difficult to acquire, generally being those issues which collectors will hang onto. Early Topper comics are pretty difficult to find in special number. Dated December 26th 1953. Lovely Christmas cover story - one of my favourites! A VG- example with light page tanning, a centre fold, some wear down the spine, a newsagents name in pencil to the right hand cover margin, a couple of puzzles completed inside, and a few small edge tears. Overall a pretty nice example of a scarce comic.
