Dandy comic No. 219 (1942) Rare: VG+!
Dated July 25th 1942.
A VG+ example with just the lightest of tanning to pages and bright
colour covers. The centre pages are loose but fit tightly and snugly
in place. A couple of light creases to the rear cover corners, the odd
corner crease and a thin dustshadow to the very top edge of an inner
page. A lovely example, and RARE!
I am also currently auctioning Beano comic 101 from 1940, and Dandy
comic 99 from 1939, both with war time propaganda cover themes, so

They are at a bargain starting price so get bidding.
These comics are old & have been stored for up too 18 years. They are
showing signs of age & have some creases & tears in them. I rate these
how i see them & are priced to sell.
They would make an ideal addition to anyones collection but please
remember they are not in pristine condition although the newer ones ae
in very good condition. They are in a no reserve auction.
My feedback speaks for itself, i do not sell shoddy goods unless they
are stated as so.....these are old & have some creases & tears!

On offer are twelve consecutive copies of one of D.C.Thomson's popular
comics dating back to 1988.
Apart from the usual amount of discolouring due to age, the odd nick
here and there and large number written at the top of the cover on
most of them, they are all in very good condition.
The dates on offer are:- 15/10, 22/10, 29/10, 5/11, 12/11, 19/11,
26/11, 3/12, 10/12, 17/12, 24/12 Christmas Issue & 31/12. The issue
numbers are:- 1863 to 1874 inclusive.
Twelve excellent comics that would be a more than welcome addition to
any collection.
