Three men were behind the creation of CHANCE. Jacques Polge, the «
Nose » of CHANEL, wanted first and foremost a fragrance for women,
but one which, just like chance itself, would surprise while still
being familiar. A constantly changing fragrance, different from one
moment to the next. Jacques Helleu, the Artistic Director, created a
jewel of a bottle; a perfect circle with a silver collar, like an echo
of the legendary square N°5 bottle. In his advertising creation,
Jean-Paul Goude filmed a young woman in a sequence where she
enthusiastically seizes her chance, just like taking hold of a
fragrance, embracing life to the full.

We send all items via RECORDED DELIVERY (UK Only – Unless otherwise
stated) – Why? Recoded delivery comes with £28 of insurance
included in the price. If (God forbid!) you don’t receive your item,
let us know. Things get lost, it’s a fact of life – but you
don’t need to loose your money!! Please bare this in mind when
bidding… No Insurance – No Payback! However, as we generate the
paperwork for Recorded Delivery, we are happy to oversee your refund.
We will start the reclaim procedure with the Post Office and promise
to keep you informed every step of the way.
If your item has a value over £28.00 we would be happy (And
Recommend) to arrange additional insurance to cover the cost – It
can cost as little as £1.00 for an extra £250.00 (Please review the

If you are outside of the UK, PLEASE contact us Immediately!! We will
need to confirm postal charges to your destination and what (If Any)
Postal Insurance you will want. COMMUNICATE ! It’s what’s going to

Any Item not stating its new will probably have been used and some
normal wear should be expected. This is true of all sales, not just
our own. We do accept that there may be occasions where more

automatically proceed to Non Paying Bidder and action this through
Ebay. NB: Don’t make stuff up… It just makes us mad! Lets face it,
even if you did win a surprise trip to Australia and you email to tell
us, you can still pay by pay-pal… they even have computers in
Australia (You know who you are!)
RETURNS:
If you experience any problems, please contact us as soon as! We will
process each request on an ad-hoc basis for a resolution that is
satisfactory for both parties. We have no desire to leave winning
bidders feeling bad – Its just not good business. Notify us with
your problem and we pledge to resolve any reasonable request.
Personal Care items - NOTE
Unfortunately, due to the nature of personal care items and products,
we cannot accept returns and all Personal Care products are sold
strictly on this bases. This includes (but not exclusively) Lipstick,
Perfume, Nail polish, Hair Care, Personal Grooming, Etc. No body wants
to buy old used Y-Fronts… Right?!
