Stunning Art Deco Chrome Ceiling Light

This is an absolutly stunning Art Deco ceiling light. This fabulous
light hangs from a shiny chrome pole from which two chrome bars extend
to hold the lights (everytime I look at this I think of ice cream
cornets!); the cone shaped holders I'm pretty sure are bakelite , but
if not they are certainly a very early plastic. The light bulb white
covers are of course glass. I'm afraid due to their size I have been
unable to capture in photograph just how striking these lights are,
they really do make a very bold statement. I was lucky enough recently
to be able to purchase a matching pair of these wonderful lights from
a house clearance, only this one is on auction at the moment but I
will eventually be listing the other in case anyone is interested in a
pair. The ceiling light measurments are 25" drop & 22" across. The
total weight is about 2.5KG. Obviously the ceiling light would need to
be rewired to modern standards. A fantasic opportunity to own a
genuine bit of Art Deco lighting.

You are bidding on a beautiful 3 shade mahogany & brass effect
ceiling light with smoked glass shades from Poole Lighting.
There are two available - pls see my other auctions.
Each pendant is approx 14" high including shades which can be handy to
know when calculating how low they will hang from the ceiling!
Each shade is approx 6" in diameter and 4.5" high. They are smoked
glass & each has vertical gold lines dividing it into 6 sections &
within each is a white etched leaf design. The fact that the glass is
smoked also gives a lovely glow when the lights are on.
For use with 3 x bayonet fitting candle bulbs. Max 60w. In my opinion
they look their best when lit with 40w bulbs.
This is a stunning item that will enhance any home... will it be
