BRITISH AIRWAYS CONCORDE: 10 Pce DOULTON PLACE SETTING

A ten piece, bone china place setting designed by Conran and made by
Royal Doulton specifically for British Airways' Concorde.
There is: a 5 1/2" salad bowl, a 7 1/4" dessert bowl, a 5", 5 3/4" and
7 3/8" plate, a 6 7/8" x 5 3/8" bowl, a 5 1/4" x 2 5/8" butter pat, a
5 7/8" x 2 1/2" canape dish and a cup and saucer. The saucer has a
diameter of 4 3/4" while the cup without the saucer stands 2" high and
has a top diameter of 3 3/8".
All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs
or signs of wear.
The marks on the underside are shown below.
Payment can be made with money orders, cashiers cheques and personal
cheques in US$ or Sterling.
And I can accept credit cards through Bidpay (debited in US dollars)
or directly in Sterling. Both methods carry a charge (3% if I do it
direct). I do not accept PayPal. Shipping within the UK is £9.00,
US$45 to the USA and Canada.

I have on offer here a compact bearing the logo for British Airways.
It has a dark blue enamelled lid with the logo repeated over it, in a
lighter blue. The enamel is in first rate condition. Made by
Stratton is has an unused signed puff. I believe however, that it has
had some slight use. Inside there is a framed mirror in excellent
condition and a retaining ring for solid powder. It is a convertible
comptact wit the sifter present. This compact which was sold on board
British Airways planes is in very good condition. The hinges and
clasps are in full working order and there is no sign of tarnishing.
Nice to collect or to use!
