This auction is for a 50s style large enamel brooch in rose-gold and cobalt-blue colour enamels. In the picture the flowers look a different shade of gold. They are both a rose-gold colour. All the enamel is there. In the 1950s many brooches still used artistic licence when deciding on the colours of flowers. This brooch reflects this vogue and is stunning because of this artistry. The golden Christmas roses have been set against cobalt-blue leaves and stem which is highlighted in a yellow gold. The goldl plated back is in good condition as is the pin and roll-over safety clasp (no loss of gold). The brooch measures 2-1/4"x1-1/2" and weighs, 13.2grams!!! You are looking at an exquisite piece of vintage costume jewelery. This stunning and very glamorous brooch has 18 emerald cut and 29 brilliant cut saphire blue crystals with a large one at the centre. Th brooch measures 1 & 1/2" across and is 3" in length to from the top emerald cut stone to the bottom dangling brilliant cut stones. This piece of jewelery is very impressive and the photos just dont do it justice. It is in immaculate condition apart from the fact that the fastening pin on the back needs replacing. You would be crazy to miss out on these midnight blue stones. They are very clear and glitter wonderfully as they catch the light. PERFECT SKY BLUE FLOWER BROOCH WITH AB CRYSTALS 1950S? Take a look at this exquisite brooch! It's just perfection. This wonderfully designed brooch would lift and add drama to any outfit. As well as the gorgeous sky blue colour it is created in layers and so has texture as well. There are two central light blue flowers surrounded by a cascade of sky blue prong set lucite petals. At the centre of each flower is a blue and lilac irridescent aurora borealis crystal and there are another five identical crystals highlighting the petals. This is a beautiful high quality piece. The brooch is approx. 2&1/2 inches high and has a secure catch fastener. I will send it boxed. P&P in UK is Â£1.00. I'm happy to combine costs on multiple orders. Thanks for looking!
