TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We aim to not be like some other traders where we take your money and
run - this is our livelihood so we want YOU the customer to be pleased
with your purchase and confident that if a problem should arise, we
will be here to help.
I'm sorry I have to write these terms and conditions but I have had a
few bad experiences in the past on Ebay with 'Time Wasters' and
ridiculous people. I know they are a bit long winded but there is a
lot of useful information included so please find the time to read
these.
Please do not bid if these rules seem unreasonable, or if you are
unable to send payment within 5 days. I don't like to include all
these rules, but it's safer to state it all up front, just in case of
any problems. Most Internet/Ebay users are reasonable and honest, but
a few are not.
Only bid on this item if you can send payment within 5 days after the
auction end date. If I receive no confirmation of the sale/completed
Ebay checkout procedure or contact regarding the intended payment
method within 24 hours of the end of auction, I reserve the right to
cancel the transaction. (Reluctantly I have no option but to do this
due to non paying bidders).
If I receive no payment after 3 days I shall send a payment reminder.
If after 5 days I still don't have payment, bad feedback will be left,
the item will be relisted and you will be reported to Ebay as a
non-payer in order that I can reclaim my fees.
Please be aware that if you bid on my item, you are entering into a
legally binding contract - if you do not complete the transaction,
legal action will be taken against you to recover my expenses and
losses.
Before placing your bid ensure you are happy with the amount. The
final price is not negotiable once you've won the auction.
POSTAGE/COLLECTION
I don’t mind posting the item to all areas of the UK and Ireland but
please note that the postage cost is higher (especially to Southern
Ireland) – so please contact me BEFORE you place your bid to obtain
the correct postage price as you will have to pay any additional
postage costs.
All items must be delivered by post due to this being the easiest and
'hassle free' method (as I have spent many wasted hours waiting in for
people and this is very frustrating) - If you do collect the item, it
is your responsibility to ensure that you ask for and collect all
advertised components/parts and of the item/s.
If not you would have to ensure that you contact me within a
reasonable period of time (28 days) and also pay any postage costs
before I am able to send the missing item/s to you. If you fail to do
so, I reserve the right to dispose of the item/s.
If you collect the item/s, these terms and conditions still apply so
please ensure BEFORE bidding that you fully inspect the items picture
and description, or contact me with any inquiries to ensure that it
meets your requirements as opting to collect the item is not a way of
inspecting then declining to buy as by bidding you have already agreed
to the sale.
Please ensure that you are happy with the postage & packaging price.
I do not make any profit on postage and packing and please note that
administration; travel and packaging materials are all included in
this price.
I post all my items promptly (usually on a Monday and Thursday). I
obtain proof of postage for all of the items I send. Should the item
go astray or sustain damage (rarely happens) you would have to wait
until I am able to contact the Post Office and claim compensation,
which is a maximum of £28 for uninsured items.
Please note that compensation claims sometimes take a while to resolve
as Royal Mail usually like to inspect damaged items.
If the item states that insurance is included, this will entitle you
to a full refund of the auction purchase price if the claim is
successful (not a new item) if you would like insurance to the
replacement value of the item, there may be a small additional
charge. Please contact me if require this level of insurance.
Please allow seven working days after payment clearance for receipt of
the item. If you would like your item to be sent by recorded delivery,
please add £1.50p to the postage charge and make a note of this when
you send me your payment (only available for small items up to 1KG).
Special (next day) delivery can be arranged for an additional fee –
please contact me to request this.
Please note that I do try my best to provide an adequate and truthful
description of items and their condition. However, I cannot guarantee
that an item will arrive in working order or as described due to
handling by Royal Mail and matters beyond my control. It is therefore
in your interests to check if the item is insured or opt for the item
to be insured, as I cannot accept liability for an item once it has
left my possession.
I also cannot accept any liability for decisions made by Royal Mail
with regard to compensation claims. Usually claims are fairly
straightforward but if a claim is not agreed (for whatever reason) it
is at your own cost and responsibility if you choose to pursue the
matter further as unfortunately I do not have the resources to become
involved in this process.
(You must either refuse delivery of an item or keep the damaged
packaging and gather evidence of this if the item appears to be
damaged in any way or any claims may be void).
Postal insurance is normally:
1.50p for items valued up to £250 and £2.25 for items valued up to
£500 - Please add this to the total at auction close, and state this
in your correspondence.
PAYMENT
There are no extra charges for paypal, personal cheques or postal
orders.
PAYPAL, Cheques, bank transfer, bankers draft and postal orders are
the only forms of payment that I accept. You can also send cash at
your own risk. When sending postal orders remember to keep the stub as
your proof of payment. Please be aware that I wait for cheques to
clear before sending items out.
When sending payment please also send me your Ebay ID and the item
number. It will ensure I send the right item to the right person and
will help me to send your item promptly.
If you've won more than one item on my auctions and would like to
combine postage, then please E-mail me for a new bill. This is only
possible if the combined weight of the items including packaging is
less than 20KG.
Feedback

I ALWAYS leave feedback once the item is received safely and feedback
left.
If I encounter problems with a winning bidder, I always contact them
first. Please show me that same respect.
DISCLAIMER
Whilst every effort is made to provide a diligent, accurate and
comprehensive description of the items offered for sale, the seller
assumes no responsibility for any minor inaccuracies or omissions
within the description. Therefore please examine the photo and
description carefully and email any questions to the seller BEFORE the
auction ends. Furthermore, the seller accepts no responsibility or
liability for the goods once they have left the sellers possession
although insurance is sometimes included or available upon request.
RETURNS
I am a very honest and fair person, my items are good quality branded
goods that are in very reasonable if not excellent condition. Every
item is subject to a detailed safety check and records and serial
numbers are kept to validate the condition and proof of purchase of an
item.
I do not sell items that I would not want to buy myself. Therefore no
refunds or replacements will be given unless clearly warranted. Each
case will be judged on its merits.
PRE-OWNED ITEMS ARE SOLD AS SEEN AND ARE FIT FOR THE PURPOSE - IF YOU
SHOULD HAVE A PROBLEM PLEASE LET US KNOW STRAIGHT AWAY. The items that
I sell on eBay are bargain items being sold at trade/used price, or
less resulting in a no returns basis. However, I will refund for items
damaged (non customer damage), or faulty. If postal damage is
suspected then I will claim from Royal Mail before issuing your
refund. Please note that refunds may take up to 28 days to process.
Returned goods must be sent on a 'signature on arrival' basis by my
appointed courier – please note that you will be responsible for the
costs involved. Please contact me if you wish to arrange this. Refunds
are only issued when we have receipt of the goods.
I also reserve the right to refuse a refund if there is evidence of
customer use or abuse.
Please note however that as the majority of my items are not brand-
new (unless otherwise stated) there will be some degree of wear or
tear on the item however slight and the item may also need a light
clean/dust as most second hand items do. I always do my best to
exercise reasonable judgment and state the condition and size of the
item in its description but cannot be held responsible for any
omission or difference of opinion or safety issues with regard to this
as this is the nature of buying/selling on ebay and we all take the
same risks. I am not Argos or Mothercare etc. If you want a brand new
item then please ensure that you do not trade through Ebay and buy a
brand new item.
Please ensure before bidding that you carefully check the size and
description of any item that you purchase from me and make the
relevant enquiries with regard to specifications and extra parts such
as remote controls etc. If a feature or part/component is not listed
or included in the photographs usually it/they wont be included!.
