VINTAGE STERLING SILVER & BLACK ONYX SCOTTISH ? BROOCH

This is a nice vintage brooch dating, I believe, to the 1920's -
1940's and in excellent original condition. I can't be sure of its
country of origin, but it is very reminiscent of Scottish styling and
work. The central, black onyx stone is collet-set and the silver
decoration to each side of the onyx looks to me to be very Celtic in
origin. The back of the brooch is textured and the pin has a roll-over
safety clasp. The brooch is 1 3/4" long by 3/8" wide. Any questions,
please ask.
Please note that all my pieces are antique or vintage and as such will
have borne the passage of time and so will inevitably show some signs
of normal wear.

This lovely brooch is in very good condtion with no wear,
beatifully done, all stones present and pin in full working order. The
gold tone setting is nicely done, allowing the stones to really
capture the light.
It measures 1" diameter
Perfect for that special occasion, for the forthcoming Christmas Time.
Would make an ideal Christmas gift or to keep for yourself. It comes
gift boxed in a nice burgundy coloured box (not cardboard)
