Postage & delivery
Our items are covered by our own insurance for which we make a small
charge (£1.20 per item, £1.10 for multiple items). This is for our own
and the customers peace of mind, as we are then able to replace or
refund items lost or damaged by the GPO or other postal service
involved in the delivery of the item. We are not responsible for any
item lost, damaged, or undelivered if the buyer has not taken up the
optional insurance. Note: We do not issue refunds for items sent
without the optional insurance.
Parcels are usually sent out 2-3 working days after payment (cheque's
require a further 3 days for clearing), and typically reach their
destination in the UK within 7-10 days; Europe 7-21 days; rest of
World 7-30 days (these figures do not represent a guarantee of
delivery times). Whilst we make every effort to satisfy a customers
requirements we are not responsible for items which do not arrive by a
given date as we are unable to guarantee the performance of the GPO or
any other postal agent involved in the delivery of the item.
Please note that under certain circumstances we may ship direct from
the country of origin, this is usually if an item is found to be
faulty on pre-post inspection. Delivery times are not affected.
Multiple items and postage discount
If a buyer bids on more than one auction item a combined Ebay invoice
will be sent out, and postage discount applied to the final cost. It
is not our responsibility if a buyer chooses to complete checkout and
pay for individual items. In this instance a postage discount will not
be applied.
Hours of business
Our working hours are 9.00-6.00 Monday to Friday. We try to be as
timely as possible with communication and all aspects of a purchase -
though at busy times a little delay may occur, in which case a gentle
reminder is most welcome.
Terms & Conditions
Please read and understand the following points before bidding:
1] All our auctions are in GBP and no other currency. This is clearly
shown on our listings. We do not give refunds to customers who state
they were unaware of this.
2] Goods are not dispatched until full payment has been received and
processed.
3] Payment must be made within 5 working days of an auction ending. A
single payment reminder will be sent should this not be the case, and
if necessary a non-paying bidder case filed.
4] We usually issue an Ebay invoice within 24 hours after an auction
closes and this includes the postage cost and insurance charge for the
item(s). Should a buyer complete the transaction before receiving the
invoice and any postal charges are owing then a request for the
balance will be made.
5] Unless a buyer takes up the optional insurance we are not
responsible for lost, mislaid or damaged items, and will not issue
refunds.
6] It is the buyers responsibility to read and understand an item's
description including size, colour, and material. We do not refund or
provide exchanges unless an item is faulty.
7] All items are inspected prior to dispatch and sent in perfect
condition, unless stated otherwise in the items description.
8] A bid is a binding contract and is treated as such. Do not bid
unless you are serious about the item.
9] Should an item be returned because of a mistake made by ourselves
then we will cover return postage. Postage for all other returns is
the responsibility of the buyer.
10] We will only refund the final bid price plus initial postage and
insurance, unless the return is due to a mistake on our behalf.
11] Feedback will be issued once the transaction is completed and
feedback left for ourselves.
12] By bidding it is assumed you have understood, and accept these
terms.
