First, you need to decide the gauge of the jewelry you want. The gauge
refers to the thickness of the stock that the jewelry is made from. In
the Brown and Sharpe scale the higher the number the smaller the wire.
So, 20ga. is the smallest wire size and 00ga. is the largest. Almost
all of our jewelry is 14ga, which is the most common size. A
conversion chart with the gauge and bar sizes in both inches and
millimeters is shown below.
Next, you need to decide what size jewelry you want. Sizing is stated
for types of jewelry in their respective sections. If you are unsure
of the gauge or size jewelry that you need we suggest that you check
with your local professional piercer to make sure that you are
ordering the correct gauge and size.
