BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER AGATE & MARCASITE EARRINGS

A gorgeous pair of green agate and marcasite drop earrings with posts
for pierced ears.
Measuring approx 1 3/4 inches long, the hinged drop measures 1 1/4
inches and about 3/4 inch at it's widest. Both earrings are marked
'925' and 'Sterling' and also have what looks like the initials 'IL'
possibly the makers mark.
These are in beautiful condition with no missing marcasites -
unfortunately my pictures do no justice to them, especially the
gorgeous jade green of the agate when the light shines through them
and the sparkling marcasites! These would make a lovely Christmas
present for someone.

In ancient Rome glass workers invented a process called MILLEFIORE
which means a thousand flowers. It was a fusion of multicoloured glass
rods in a contrasting bundle with recurring designs in each section.
This absolutely delightful Real glass MILLEFIORE bracelet measures 8"
and is thick and chunky, set into solid silver.
Total weight 49.8gms.
Marked 925 Silver.
There are 8 large real Millefiore cabouchon cut glass ovals each
measuring 3/4" by 1/2"approx. These are set into the most lovely
silver mounts which have a continuous scrolling effect throughout.
Each cabouchon mount is marked 925, which means this quality piece
has 9 Silver marks in total.
Every colour of the rainbow is seen in this superb bracelet.
