New unused battery charger suitable for 4 to 7 cells found in Radio
controlled electric racing cars.
Will fast charge at up to 6 amps, from a 12volt battery source. Will
charge 4 to 6 cells of any capacity ie will charge 2000mah nicads and
3300mah nimhydride battery packs.
Set amps from 1 to 6 amps. Set frequency at low, medium or high pulse
rate.
Set autopeak shutoff to fast medium or long rollover time. OR:
Set temperature of cut off to a temp above cell ambient. Press the
temp probe against the cells to be charged, and unit will turn off
when temperature rises, which indicates cells are fully charged.
Temperature probe charging display shows probe temperature and set
temperature, which can be set from 0 to 69 deg C.
New, unused , boxed with instructions and connecting leads.

Auto peak detect circuit also included. Switch to auto-peak and you
can auto charge at currents up to 6 amps and charger will switch off
automatically when batteries are fully charged. The millivolt switch
enables all batteries including NiMh batteries to be charged. Set at
20mV for NiMh and 100mv for Nicads.

Batteries heat up at end of charge, so they must be quite warm to hot
for maximum performance. If they are cold or mildly warm, hit the
charge button again. We often hit that button 3 or 4 times before we
go and race. Batteries will only get damaged if they are too hot to
hold. Note that old batteries may have duff cells. You can tell a duff
cell as it will heat up quickly while the others remain at a lower
temp. Press finger on each cell to check they all heat up together. A
3000 pack will take about 30 mins to charge from flat at 5 amps. You
can use 6 amps for quicker
